Free workshop will provide assistance for those coping with grief this holiday season
ALPENA, Mich. (Oct. 29, 2019) – Hospice of Michigan (HOM), the state’s original and largest not-for-profit hospice provider, is hosting a ‘Hope for the Holidays’ workshop in Alpena this holiday season that will offer supportive techniques for coping with loss during the holidays.
On Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6 until 7:30 p.m., the community is invited to come to the Hospice of Michigan office in Alpena, located at 145 N. State Ave., for discussion on helping to comfort those who are grieving during a season of family, memories and traditions.
Hospice of Michigan knows how the holiday season can be a difficult time for those going through the grieving process, and every year during this time, HOM hosts numerous ‘Hope for the Holidays’ grief support workshops throughout the state. These free events are helpful for anyone who has lost a loved one.
‘Hope for the Holidays’ workshops are among the many free grief support services Hospice of Michigan offers, providing a supportive environment for those struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one. Hospice of Michigan’s grief support programs are open to everyone in the community dealing with the loss of a loved one, regardless of whether they received care from HOM.
