Hospice of Michigan Seeks Volunteer Patient Companions

Nonprofit hospice organization looking for volunteers in Alpena, Alcona Counties

ALPENA, MI, Jan. 4, 2018 – Hospice of Michigan is seeking caring and compassionate volunteers interested in donating their time as patient companions in Alpena and Alcona Counties, especially in Alpena’s outlying communities (25+ miles from the city). Interested individuals will be invited to a training session to learn about working with patients, as well as general information about the nonprofit hospice organization, its patients and the benefits that active volunteers may experience.

Interested volunteers can contact Kathy Lietaert at 231.779.5409 or klietaer@www.hom.org for more information, or visit www.hom.org. To submit an online application, please visit www.hom.org/volunteer-application/.
