Newaygo, Michigan, December 29, 2014 — Hospice of Michigan will hold a Healing Improv Workshop with Bart Sumner on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
This free workshop for adults is designed to bring a healing experience to those in grief in a fun and interactive way. Participants will learn how to breakdown emotional barriers and increase communication with others through comedy improv games and exercises.
Bart Sumner, founder of Healing Improv, has been an improv comedy teacher and performer for more than 25 years. After his son died, Sumner found improv was a way to channel grief and discover joy and hope during the darkest of times.
