Fly and Remember
There are many ways to grieve. And grieving is a process that takes its own time and has its own way. Creating rituals to honor the memory of loved ones can help lift heavy hearts. Hospice of Michigan's grief support services staff created a special kite-flying event called Fly and Remember where individuals who have lost a loved one come together to fly kites in memory of a loved one.
This event is just one of many ways that Hospice of Michigan works with patients and patient families to offer support, strength and guidance through the emotional challenges of loss. - More -

Have you Had the Talk?
The Have You Had the Talk™ Campaign urges all adults to consider what kind of care and plans they want followed if they ever need to rely on someone else for their medical care and decision-making. The best time to plan and prepare is when there is no emergency or health crisis. The Talk is a gift to anyone who needs to know what you want when you can no longer speak for yourself. And it is a gift of peace of mind to you.
A free Have You Had the Talk™? Toolkit can be downloaded here.
