The community outreach volunteer provides support for the our speaker's bureau and related events.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Facilitate or co-facilitate presentations as identified in speaker's bureau program
  • Assist with Hospice of Michigan events as needed
  • Provide educational support for health expos, senior events, etc.
  • Facilitates community awareness and support of Hospice of Michigan
  • Provides required documentation
  • Maintains confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Must meet minimum age requirements for a junior volunteer
  • Successful completion of required patient and family services volunteer or basic HOM volunteer training as applicable
  • Successful completion of speaker's bureau training
  • Adherence to policies and procedures for speaker's bureau presentations
