Interviewing a patient or caregiver

At Hospice of Michigan, each patient, each caregiver, each family member, has his or her own insights, experiences, challenges and solutions that are essential facets of the hospice story. While we protect the privacy of our patients and families, some are willing to share their stories. We can help get the necessary permissions and releases.

When a caregiver agrees to share their compelling insights with an interviewer, it can help educate and inform the public about the difference in quality of life a hospice program can make at the end of life. It can assist the reporter in telling the complete story.

Reporters who are interested in interviewing a Hospice of Michigan patient, family member or professional caregiver should contact Cary Gersh at (313) 578-5042 or cgersh@hom.org.
