Fact Sheet

Pediatric Early Care (PEC) is a program designed for families of children from prenatal stages until age 21, depending on the diagnosis. PEC will assist the families from the time of diagnosis, providing support in:

  • Palliative care education
  • Prenatal palliative support and education
  • Grief and loss issues
  • Community resource access
  • Sibling support
  • Patient advocacy
  • Insurance issues
  • Integration with service providers, schools, employment, religious groups, and medical staff to assist family with life adjustment

The PEC and Perinatal programs are available free of charge to families. These services are unreimbursed (not billed to insurance) and are offered to the community as part of our vision and mission to serve all children who need our care.
