The American Academy of Pediatrics has recognized the importance of developing palliative care programs that address the specific needs of seriously ill children and their families.

Hospice of Michigan has one of the few dedicated pediatric hospice services in the country. Based in Grand Rapids, our pediatric hospice team provides a physician, nurse, social worker and spiritual care adviser experienced in providing specialized care and support to children and their families.

In addition to our dedicated team, Hospice of Michigan has pediatric professionals throughout the state trained in palliative care who are ready to help.
