Living with Grief: Children and Adolescents

Hospice Foundation of America’s (HFA) 15th Annual National Bereavement Teleconference will focus on the experience of grieving children and adolescents and the ways in which all hospice professionals, educators, school administrators, grief counselors, social workers, physicians, funeral directors, clergy, and parents can best support these populations as they cope with loss and grief. The program and newly published book will focus on the most current theories and practices, and as always, will combine academic research with hands-on ideas for use in hospice support groups and other settings.

The teleconference provides low-cost continuing education credits to nurses, social workers, physicians, funeral directors, counselors, clergy, EMS workers, and others. Three continuing education contact hours (CEs) will be available. Verify CE availability with your professional or state board. There is a $25 online processing fee per certificate, per participant, or $35 via mail. There is a $10 charge for each additional certificate requested. Detailed CE instructions will be provided to participants at the event.
