Hospice of Michigan to Host Puttin’ on the Ritz Oct. 10

Rogers City, September 23, 2015 – Hospice of Michigan will host the 25th anniversary and final year of Puttin’ on the Ritz on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Rogers City.

This year’s event will be a traditional talent show that will feature fan favorite performances from years past, including beautiful voices and prominent community members in hilarious roles. Proceeds from Puttin’ on the Ritz benefits Hospice of Michigan’s open access program, which provides comfort care at the end of life without regard to age, diagnosis or ability to pay.

Puttin’ on the Ritz will be held at the Rogers City Area Senior & Community Center, 131 E. Superior St. The doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The evening will also include a cash bar and raffles.

“Our goal is to have a wonderful evening that brings the community together to celebrate local talent and local treasures,” said Shirley Hahn, Puttin’ on the Ritz coordinator. “Hospice of Michigan has a long tradition of providing quality of life at the end of life for all those who need and seek its care.

“We encourage everyone to come out for what is sure to be a wonderful farewell event.”

Tickets are $30 and are available at the Rogers City Chamber of Commerce office, 292 S. Bradley Hwy., online at hom.convio.net/POTR or by calling HOM at 989.358.4291. Seating is limited.
