Hospice of Michigan Moves Clinton Township Office

Organization is Looking for Volunteers to Support its Work in the Community

Clinton Township, Michigan, August 31, 2015 – Hospice of Michigan is moving its Clinton Township office to newer and more functional space.

Effective Sept. 1, the office will move from its current location on Hayes Road to 39531 Garfield Road. The new offices will be better configured to allow Hospice of Michigan to meet the growing needs of its clinical teams. The space will also allow Hospice of Michigan to add more community educational workshops and presentations as well as better accommodate its grief support groups.

“Our goal is to help patients and families experience quality of life at the end of life, and our new offices will support that mission,” said Sheila Hay, senior director of HOM’s Southeast clinical operations. “Our 30-person Macomb County team is rooted in the community and includes registered nurses and hospice aides, spiritual care advisors, social workers and grief support counselors who work together to meet the needs of families facing the loss of a loved one.”

HOM is also looking for volunteers in Macomb County to provide patient care and companionship, grief support and community outreach support to clients and families. For more information, visit https://www.hom.org/get-involved/getting-started/.
