Big Rapids, Michigan, July 1, 2015 — Hospice of Michigan will hold a Healing Improv Workshop with Bart Sumner on Friday, Aug. 14.
This free workshop for adults is designed to bring a healing experience to those in grief in a fun and interactive way. Participants will learn how to break down emotional barriers and increase communication with others through comedy improv, games and exercises. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Bart Sumner, founder of Healing Improv, has been an improv comedy teacher and performer for more than 25 years. After his son died, Sumner found improv was a way to channel grief and discover joy and hope during the darkest of times.
