Patrick Miller joined Hospice of Michigan in May 2004 as service line director – facilities, and has since served our organization as corporate director of clinical services, corporate director of new business development, and, most recently, corporate director of organizational integrity. He was named senior vice president, service operations, chief operating officer, in July 2007.

Patrick is a graduate of the Second Degree/ Second Career program at Wayne State University College of Nursing. In addition, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, an MBA and a MHSA from the University of Michigan.

Before joining HOM, he was executive director of Avalon Hospice in Flint. He also worked at Henry Ford Hospital where he was a staff RN and assistant manager for three years.

Patrick’s background also includes a cultural exchange program in the Middle East and a fellowship with Diné College on the Navajo Nation.
