Dorothy E. (Dottie) Deremo is dedicated to helping terminally ill individuals receive the care, dignity and compassion they deserve during the final stages of life. She uses her expertise on end-of-life issues to improve access to quality care on both the statewide and national fronts. As President and CEO of Hospice of Michigan since 1998, Ms. Deremo has drawn upon her more than 30 years of experience in nursing care delivery along with key hospital executive/nursing administration positions to oversee compassionate care to serving 800 patients a day across 45 counties in Michigan with revenues of nearly 60 million dollars.

Patrick joined Hospice of Michigan in May 2004 as service line director – facilities, and has since served the organization as corporate director of clinical services, corporate director of new business development, and most recently, corporate director of organizational integrity. He was named senior vice president, service operations, chief operating officer, in July 2007

As senior vice president for business operations/chief financial officer for Hospice of Michigan, Robert Cahill oversees contracted services, financial analysis, accounting, payroll, budgeting, human resources, information services, legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions, property management and purchasing.

As Corporate Medical Director for Hospice of Michigan, Michael J. Paletta, M.D. provides medical oversight for the statewide organization and provides consultation to physicians who refer patients to the organization, which provides end-of-life services for approximately 850 patients each day in 45 counties around the state. He is a distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

As Vice President of Business Development and Chief Marketing Officer for Hospice of Michigan, Steve Larkin focuses on strategy development and execution, sales management, market communication and business growth.

Marcie Hillary joined Hospice of Michigan in 1997, and since then has been instrumental in helping the organization raise more than $5 million annually.

Under the aegis of the Maggie Allesee Center for Quality of Life, Ms. McGraw is responsible for all quality and process improvement components of the Center’s research, education and consumer outreach programs including customer focus groups, total quality management principles and data information collection for new products and service innovation.
