Most services are paid privately by the client
HOM will bill most insurance providers, including Long-Term-Care insurance companies
Gift certificates are available for individuals who wish to purchase services for a family member or loved one.
There are some long-term-care insurance policies that cover custodial, aide or
nursing care when it is medically necessary and Home Care and Hospice of Michigan is able to bill the
insurance company accordingly.
Because our Private Duty division has Nurse Case Managers, Home Care and
Hospice of Michigan is able to bill auto insurance companies, workman's comp cases and
catastrophic cases.
